Percy Jackson, once thought he was an ordinary kid, but after a several incidents and encounters, Percy finds out that he powerful.  He is a demigod and the son of Posieden. The gods accuse Percy of stealing Zeus' lightning bolt.  Percy wants to clear his name and prevent war among the Olympians, so he sets out to find the real lightning thief.
